Academic Objectives
1. To provide an alternative to the large, impersonal public school.
2. To provide an atmosphere in which non-performing students may achieve.
3. To prepare students for admission to a degree-granting institution.

Strategies
- Small classes of approximately seven students
- Help sessions scheduled by the teacher
- Special afternoon study halls for students with incomplete assignments
- Two-hour evening study periods in all dormitories
- Special evening study hall providing more focus for selected students
- Ninety-minute Saturday study sessions for students with low grades
- English as a Second Language classes for international students
- Residential staff available for academic support
