Licensed Clinical Counselors
What sets Grand River Academy apart from many independent and public schools is our dedicated team of licensed clinical counselors. They provide personalized guidance to help students manage stress, build resilience, and grow in confidence. By working hand-in-hand with families and faculty, our counselors ensure each young man receives the social, emotional, and academic support he needs to thrive in college and beyond. The Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor lives on campus, and 24 hours support is available for all the students’ needs.
988 Crisis Lifeline Policy
To ensure that all students, faculty, and staff are aware of immediate, 24/7 mental-health crisis support through the national number 988 and understand how the school will respond when the hotline is used or referenced in campus settings.
- 988 is a free, confidential, nationwide service providing support by phone, text, or chat for people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress.
- It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It can be used by an individual in crisis or by someone concerned about another person.
