You Belong at Grand River Academy- Start Your Journey Today
At Grand River Academy, we know that students learn best when they feel connected, supported, and understood. Guided by our Core Commitments and Social Emotional Learning model, we welcome young men from around the world who are ready to grow academically, socially, and personally in a community built on trust and belonging.
Each year, students from more than a dozen countries call GRA home. Their diverse backgrounds and experiences strengthen our classrooms, our conversations, and our campus culture, preparing every student to lead with empathy and confidence in a global world.
To ensure every international student feels fully supported, GRA provides:
- Personalized Admissions Guidance – Step-by-step support throughout the application and enrollment process.
- Language and Cultural Resources – Faculty and staff fluent in Japanese, French, and Spanish are available to assist students and families.
- Comprehensive Campus Support – From arrival logistics to daily life at GRA, our team helps students adjust, connect, and thrive.
- Community Integration – Mentorship, leadership opportunities, and student life programs designed to foster connection and belonging.
Health & Wellness Requirements
At Grand River Academy, the health and well-being of our students come first. To ensure every student has access to quality medical care, all international students are required to enroll in GRA’s Comprehensive Injury and Sickness Plan.
This plan is designed specifically for private secondary schools and meets all mandated requirements under Ohio law. It is accepted by local medical providers and helps cover the high cost of healthcare services.
Physical Examination & Immunizations
Before arriving on campus, all new students must complete the required health forms with their healthcare provider and submit an up-to-date immunization record. These forms become available after a student is admitted and must be submitted to the Health Center prior to arrival.
