At Grand River Academy, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. Thanks to generous support from alumni, families, and state-funded programs, we offer multiple ways to make a GRA education accessible.

Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship (JPSN)

The Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship, offered through the Ohio Department of Education, supports students with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Key Points:

If your son has a finalized IEP from his school district, he automatically qualifies
Allows families to choose a specialized school program, like GRA, instead of public school
Award amount is based on the student’s Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and eligibility category

Eligibility:

Must have a current, finalized IEP with agreement from the parent and district

EdChoice Scholarship

The EdChoice Scholarship Program provides state-funded tuition assistance for students in qualifying school districts.

Key Points:

Families in Ashtabula and other eligible districts may qualify for partial or full tuition coverage
Makes a GRA education more accessible for more families

General Financial Aid

Grand River Academy offers all families need-based financial aid through FACTS. To begin your Financial Aid Application, please visit the FACTS website. If you have any questions during the application process, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Admissions Office at 440-275-2811.
