Student Leadership
Leading with Purpose. Serving with Heart.
At Grand River Academy, leadership is not just a position, it’s a mindset. We believe that every student has unique strengths and the responsibility to use them for the good of others. Through hands-on opportunities in student government, service, and philanthropy, GRA boys learn that true leadership is grounded in empathy, accountability, and community.
In our core beliefs, we at GRA embrace the ideas that each person has unique gifts and capacities, and a responsibility to develop them, and that each person shares the responsibility and honor of serving others.
Our student-led organizations bring these guiding principles to life. Students are empowered to take initiative, voice ideas, and make a positive impact both on campus and beyond.
Student Leadership in Action

Student Council
Elected by their peers, Student Council members play a vital role in campus life. They organize school events, represent student perspectives, and collaborate with faculty to strengthen the GRA community. Through this experience, students learn decision-making, communication, and teamwork. Skills that extend far beyond their time at GRA.

Philanthropy Club
The Philanthropy Club gives students the opportunity to plan and participate in charitable initiatives that make a difference locally and globally. Whether organizing fundraisers, supporting nonprofits, or volunteering with community partners, students discover the power of giving back.

Service & Community Engagement
At GRA, service is woven into the fabric of our school culture. Students participate in community service projects throughout the year, from food drives and environmental cleanups to mentoring programs and on-campus volunteer opportunities. Through these experiences, they learn that leadership and compassion go hand in hand.
